Bondhay Golf Club has been announced as 'Golf Club of the Year' as part of the Yorkshire Prestige Awards!
The Prestige Awards introduced their regional awards to recognise smaller, independent businesses that are extremely successful and hard working on a local level. Each nominee has to submit supporting information for their chosen category and once the allocation of nominations is met, all businesses within their category are then passed onto a panel of industry expert judges who ultimately pick a winner. Alongside the questionnaire, publicly sourced information is used such as reviews, testimonials and information provided on the company’s website and possibly their social media platforms.
It's an honour to be recognised for the quality of the Club and for the hard work of our teams in the pro shop, greens, hospitality and senior management. The last year or so has seen big rejuvenation and investment across the Club, which will continue on into the future to ensure that we are providing the very best for our Members, visitors and the wider public.
Lisa Hardisty, Managing Director of Bondhay Golf Club, said:

I would like to thank the staff at Bondhay who have been working hard for the last 12 months and who continue to surprise me with their unwavering commitment and dedication to making Bondhay great again. I would also like to thank our members who have continued to support us as we develop and renovate the Club. Lastly I would like to thank the Prestige panel who have identified the changes we have made over the last 12 months to get where we are today."
The presentation ceremony will be held later this year at Hazlewood Castle Hotel.
